Arrived tonight wanting a nice pub meal only to be told the kitchen was closed. Despite their website stating food was served from 6pm. How hard is it to put something on your own website to let potential customers know? Wasted journey.

Excellent tasting food. Very good quality and definitely value for money. Lamb shank was best I’ve tasted. Desert was delicious too.

Called in for lunch today with my wife good selection on offer, food was excellent, plentiful and good value for money.

Looks nice outside, not bad inside. Friendly staff. Sadly the pub grub was below average. Burger not good quality and very salty, crinkle cut chips (really?!) Were cold. Fried eggs overcooked, seriously, brown and crispy on the underside. Also no sauces offered. Won't be returning Vegetarian options: Some options Parking: Large car park

Had a lovely carvery at the Royal Oak!! The amazing staff managed to accommodate 21 of us!! Food was good quality and homely!! We will definitely go back!!

Excellent food and service, good value with good drinks availability.

A very clean and hospitable establishment, the lady behind the bar was pleasant and friendly. Had the Sunday carvery with choice of beef, pork or gammon, no poultry or veggie options. Gammon was incredibly salty, roast potatoes were soggy with oil and burnt. Nice choice of desserts on the menu but we decided not to spend anymore money in the establishment and didn't bother with them. Difficult to recommend the food but the Fullers Pride is very good!

Amazing food, huge portions and lovely staff! This was our 1st visit but certainly won't be the last!
